A friendship, an understanding and maybe something a bit more as well. There is a phenomenal character dynamic between Tori and the guys. The whole worldbuilding and even the characters reminded me a bit of the manga/anime titled Fairy tail, if you ever wached the episode of that you know what I mean. I was freaking tired when I started it and this book was the perfect choice to turn my brain off. Okay so the plot may be pretty straighforward and simple but everything has a certain spice to it that just shakes things up. Also the characters are great and easy to like. There is plenty of action is it, even if most of it ha a hint of humor to it. It is easy to read, hilarious, the writing is flowing. Three mages and a Margarita is the best laugh out loud, dyanmic and relaxing read you can wish for. Okay, so nothing going to thrump the Steel&Stone series by Annette Marie, but this is probably my second favorit. I recived a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. Yeah, they were mages. That’s the definition of fitting in, right? Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an asshole right back. It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview-to see if I’d mesh with their “special” clientele.

Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig. Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired.
